Walk & Talk Therapy

Is this the right place for you?

People come to Peninsula MindCare when they’re experiencing:

  • Anxiety, stress, or emotional overwhelm

  • Burnout, motivation struggles, or feeling “stuck”

  • Grief, loss, or major life transitions

  • School, study or identity pressures (teens & young adults)

  • Men’s mental health and emotional expression

  • Chronic illness or persistent pain

  • Relationship or communication challenges

  • Athletes managing performance pressure or sporting identity

If any of this resonates, counselling can offer space to slow things down, reflect, and move forward with more confidence.

How counselling can help

Counselling at Peninsula MindCare focuses on helping you make sense of what’s going on and develop ways to move forward that feel manageable and sustainable.

Through therapy, people often notice they’re able to:

  • Feel less overwhelmed by thoughts and emotions

  • Understand unhelpful patterns and respond differently

  • Build emotional resilience and confidence

  • Improve communication and relationships

  • Reduce anxiety and stress over time

  • Navigate change with more clarity and steadiness

  • Reconnect with what matters to them

Sessions are tailored to your needs — whether you’re looking for practical tools, deeper exploration, or a supportive space to reflect at your own pace.

About Peninsula MindCare

Peninsula MindCare is a counselling and psychotherapy practice based in Mornington, offering a calm, non-judgmental space for meaningful therapeutic work.

We’re part of a long-standing multidisciplinary clinic that has supported the local Mornington Peninsula community for over 15 years. Our counselling work draws on evidence-based practice, while keeping the approach practical, down-to-earth, and human.

We work with children, teenagers, adults, and athletes, and tailor sessions to the person in front of us — whether that means practical tools, deeper reflection, or simply space to talk things through without pressure.

You won’t find rushed sessions or clinical jargon here. Just thoughtful, personalised support, at a pace that feels manageable and respectful.
